Order entered August 19, 2025, by Magistrate Judge Virginia K. DeMarchi denying non-party Patrick Joseph D’Arcy’s request for leave to file an amicus brief in support of defendant Jonathan Huneault, operator of the Frauditor Troll channel. The Court found that D’Arcy’s proposed filing, which attempted to raise issues about plaintiff’s attorney and even sought interim injunctive relief, had no bearing on the merits of the copyright case and was improper. The Clerk was directed to remove D’Arcy as amicus from the docket.
